GovCloud Records Pilot – Georgia Initiative

Thank you for visiting PSL at the Georgia Records Association Conference. We are excited to launch a voluntary pilot project for our GovCloud Records application, tailored specifically for Georgia’s agencies. This initiative is fully funded by PSL and aims to simplify compliance, enhance accessibility, and support operational excellence.

Why This Pilot Matters

GovCloud Records is designed to meet Georgia’s unique statutory and operational requirements. Through this pilot, we will collaborate with records professionals, IT specialists, and law enforcement stakeholders to deliver a secure, scalable, and cost-effective records management solution.

Monthly Meetings

Facilitated by James McGriff, President of PSL, monthly meetings will be held for both records professionals and developers to ensure alignment and progress. Meeting agendas are outlined in the strategy plan.

Implementation Timeline

  • October 2025: Kickoff and requirements gathering
  • November 2025: Initial configuration and compliance mapping
  • December 2025: Prototype demonstration and feedback
  • January 2026: Iterative improvements and training
  • February 2026: Final testing and validation
  • March 2026: Pilot launch

Executive Sponsorship Requirement

Participation in the GovCloud Records Pilot requires approval from your agency’s executive leadership. This ensures that selected participants are authorized to attend monthly meetings during regular business hours and contribute meaningfully to the initiative.

Upon submission of the application form, both the applicant and their executive sponsor will receive a confirmation email.
